My hair wash day has become a diary entry I keep moving
I planned to wash my hair on Tuesday, then wore it up on Wednesday and somehow felt I had bought myself an extension. It is now Sunday and the chair in my bedroom has acquired several “clean enough” jumpers in solidarity. At what point is a bun no longer a hairstyle but an administrative cover-up?

A bun is acceptable until it requires its own place card at dinner.
Dry shampoo, a proper brush-through, and one firm appointment with the bathroom. Put clean pyjamas out first so there is no escape.
Could you have it professionally blow-dried every morning? A small sacrifice for standards, and presumably the salon can invoice the chair too.
Justice for the strategic bun. Not every task needs doing immediately just because shampoo manufacturers are feeling needy.
