The agreement
These terms govern Slagsnet, operated by Incentively Limited. Slag Hub is our help area. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and the house rules. Our privacy policy explains the separate question of how we use personal information.

Your account
You must be at least 18 to join. Use an email address you control, keep your password and sign-in links private and don’t impersonate another person. Handles can be pseudonyms. You are responsible for activity you authorise on your account; tell us promptly if someone else gains access. A pink tick identifies the community host account; it is not an endorsement of advice or every claim made in a post.
Your words belong to you
You keep ownership of the content you create. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, display, format, copy for delivery and backup, and moderate that content so we can operate Slagsnet. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated advertising use. It lasts while the content is available through the service and for limited backup or lawful retention afterwards.
Only post material you are entitled to share. Don’t disclose someone else’s private information, infringe copyright, post unlawful material or make allegations you cannot responsibly substantiate. Use the contact form for rights complaints, identifying the material and your basis for the complaint.
Moderation and account restrictions
We may hold contributions for review, remove or restrict content, close a conversation, limit features or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to apply the rules, protect users or meet legal duties. First contributions normally wait for approval; trusted members’ later posts can appear immediately. Content is not all reviewed before publication.
We consider context and proportionality. You can request reasons for a decision and appeal through Reports & appeals. We may withhold information where disclosure would expose someone’s private details, prejudice an investigation or create a safety risk. You can stop using the service at any time and request account closure through Slag Hub.
Conversation, not professional advice
Posts express their authors’ views. Community discussion is not medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. We don’t promise that members’ statements are accurate or that the service will always be uninterrupted. We take reasonable care in operating the service and investigate reported problems.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away your statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care, subject to applicable law.
Changes and concerns
We may change the service and these terms for operational, legal or safety reasons. We will explain material changes with reasonable notice where practicable; urgent changes may take effect sooner. The date above identifies this version. Contact Slagsnet with questions or complaints.
English law applies, without removing mandatory protections you have where you live. You may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law, including your home courts where those rights apply.
