The Celebrity Traitors group chat: how long should spoilers be forbidden?

A group chat discussing The Celebrity Traitors needs a constitution. One person watches immediately. Another is three episodes behind. A third writes ‘I won’t spoil it, but OH MY GOD’ and considers this an act of restraint. Even ‘you will LOVE tonight’ is suspicious information if you know what somebody loves. Please stop sending emotional weather forecasts. What is a fair spoiler window: until the next morning, 48 hours, or until the slowest friend has finished renovating their kitchen? And is muting the chat a sensible solution or friendship exile?

The chat 6

Separate spoiler chat. Clear subject line. No coded updates in the original chat. This is the administrative competence Britain has been missing.
I need a generous window. Sometimes I am behind on things that happened to me.
“No spoilers but I am FURIOUS” is a spoiler wearing a little disguise. We can still see you.
Mute until caught up. It is one of the few life problems with a button provided.
Separate chat wins. The keen ones get their fun, the busy ones keep their surprises, and nobody has to apologise for having a life.

You’ve definitely got an opinion.
